The Terrell Fire Department Honor Guard was formed in 2016. The Honor Guard consists of members of the department who uphold the highest standards in representing the Terrell Fire Department during funerals, ceremonies and any other activities designated by the Fire Chief. The Honor Guard displays honor and respect to members who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty as well as retirees who pass away after their duty to the citizens of Terrell has ended. As the fire service is a brotherhood, the Guard represents The Terrell Fire Department by attending and assisting when other agencies experience the loss of a member. The Guard also participates in numerous activities within the City of Terrell posting the Colors at various ceremonies. The Terrell Fire Department Honor Guard is committed to ensuring that the traditions of the fire service are completed with honor and respect.
