Children’s Programs

The library provides year-round programming for children ages zero to five and special event programming for ages six to seventeen.

Presentations featuring both professional and amateur performers are presented throughout the year. All children and teen programs are free to attend and open to the public.

Summer Reading Program 2019:

Registration begins Tuesday, June 4, at our Annual Summer Activities Fair. There’s something for every age, including adults!

  • Monday(June 24, July 22, August 5): Teen Zone 6:00-8:00 p.m. Hang out. Bring your friends. Ages 13-17
  • Tuesdays: Terrific Tuesdays 1:30-2:30 p.m. Live professional performers. Open to the public.
  • Wednesdays: Little Listeners 10:30 a.m. ages 0-5. Art Academy 1:00-5:00 p.m. ages 6-12
  • Thursdays: Mad Science 1:00-5:00 p.m. ages 6-12.
  • Fridays: Little Listeners 1:30 p.m. ages 0-5. Family Movie 3:00 p.m. free popcorn.
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: Logic or English, Reading tutors for ages 4-7. For more information call the library 972-551-6663.
