Recurring Page Turners Programs:

Who are Page Turners? Page Turners are patrons who are 18+ and participate in Hulsey Public Library’s programs. Any adult can be a self-proclaimed Page Turner and join in on all the fun at the library. 

Book Club for Adults

Join our book club for adults! Meetings are held monthly on the first Monday from 6 - 7 PM. Check the calendar for location and date changes. At each meeting, the club will discuss the book selection and vote on the book for the upcoming months.

Chess Club for Adults

Chess Club allows patrons to learn the game of chess, improve their chess skills, and enjoy challenging their peers while experiencing healthy competition and team spirit. Chess can help to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. Meetings will be on the fourth Monday of each month from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. Check the calendar for location and date changes.

Crafting Corner

Express yourself and de-stress during HPL's Crafting Corner! Join us in the library's Community Room for an hour of crafting! This program occurs monthly. Check the calendar for upcoming dates!

DIY Delights

Interested in learning how some of the Instagram crafts are done? Then DIY Delights is the perfect place for you. Teens and adults are invited to participate in this program that features a different home & body style craft each month.

Especially Crafty

Join us for a crafting experience geared towards Adults with special needs. This come-and-go event will feature craft stations that will switch up monthly! Adults 18+, caregivers welcome.

Makerspace

Makerspace is a place for YOU to learn and create.  Library staff provide guidance but leave the vision and execution of the projects to you. Training is available to help you learn how to operate the equipment safely to complete your projects with the results you hope to achieve. We also encourage collaboration but will advise you if a project is beyond the scope of our space. Please click here to reserve your time in the Makerspace.

No Pressure Painting 

Do you love to paint? Have you wanted to try painting but were too afraid? Come paint with us in a relaxing environment where all skill levels are welcome! Each month, we will paint something new. A library staff as the instructor on how to help develop your painting skills. No previous painting experience is required! 

Trivia Nights 

Join us every other Tuesday at a local Terrel restaurant to answer some trivia questions. Each trivia night focuses on a different theme. So if you are a big fan of TV Shows/Movies, be sure to be on the lookout for the trivia night theme made just for you. All ages are welcome. No registration required. There is a limit of six people per team.
