To ensure that all public infrastructure in the City of Terrell is constructed to the highest possible standards, various design and construction standards have been developed by the Engineering Department and adopted by the City of Terrell City Council.  These standards are use on both capital improvement and development projects.

These guidelines are provided to assist the developers of commercial and residential properties to meet the requirements of the City of Schertz's Fire Marshal’s Office.  The information provided are guidelines only and are not intended to address all requirements. Currently the City references the 2021 IFC, 2022 IBC, & most current NFPA edition.
