Terrell State Hospital Entrance Project
As approved by City Council Resolution No. 2104, October 24, 2023, HB1 and SB30 proved the State’s commitment to mental health services by providing further funding for a new State Hospital facility in Terrell. In partnership with Department of State Health Services and Texas Department of Transportation, the City of Terrell is currently under full design and TxDot procurement schedule for a new entrance to the facility from State Highway 80. Land acquired for this project shall be for the use of TxDot roadway / State Hospital facility entrance.
