Mobile Food Units 

To operate a Mobile Food Unit (Food Truck, trailer, etc.) in the City of Terrell, you must obtain a Mobile Food Unit Permit. Permits are valid for one (1) calendar year from the date of issue.

Permit fee is $50.


City of Terrell Mobile Food Unit Permit Process

  1. Fill out Application and turn in to Municipal Development 
  2. Pay $50 Permit Fee
  3. Schedule a Fire and Health Inspection through the Fire Marshals Office at 972-551-6651
  4. Make sure to have proof of payment and all required documentation listed below
  5. Once Inspections are completed and passed, you will receive a Mobile Food Unit permit sticker from the Fire Marshal to place on the window.
